Sprinkler CEO's Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my dad, who owns a sprinkler company. It's a two layered cake covered in butter cream. I carved into the cake to form the 'trenches' and laid the fondant 'PVC sprinkler pipes' in them. I used Oreo for the dirt. The truck was a Hot Wheels truck that I painted and then taped the company's logo on - it's a replica of the truck my dad drives around in everyday. I also purchased a One Direction figurine and taped my dad's face to it (haha!).  It was a hit and my dad LOVED it. Success!!

Katie's Baby Shower!

My BFF is having her first baby and I was so excited when I was asked to make her baby shower cake.  It was a a white almond sour cream cake (my personal favorite), covered in butter cream and fondant.  Her party was a blast and we can't wait to meet Kimber!  Love you Katie!

Dinosaur Birthday Cup Cakes

These are the dinosaur cup cake toppers.  They took absolutely FOREVER to make, but I was happy with them in the end.  The kids at the party thought they were so fun, and some actually ate them, which was fine because they are basically made out of marshmallows and powdered sugar.

This is the cake pre-T-Rex.  I thought it would be fun to make the big 1 year old a special cake just for him (to devour).  The colors of the dinosaur party were yellow and green.  The grass is so fun to make!

This was the birthday boy's personal cake.  When my husband and I have kids, I want to make them huge cakes that they can enjoy and get covered in, just like this little boy did :)

The final product...

I'd say we had one very happy birthday boy!  Thank you Christie for asking me to do these cup cakes!  Loved how the dinosaurs turned out!!! Happy Birthday Carver!

Rachel's Summer Wedding Cake

I made this cake for my good friend Rachel.  She was having a summer wedding in Rigby, Idaho.  The cake was my Brown Sugar Spice Cake.  It was filled with butter cream icing and covered in fondant, ribbon, and flowers.  I was so honored to make this cake for my friends big day! Congrats Rachel!

The Skull and Flames Cake

My friend Theresa asked me to make a skull cake for a good friend of her's birthday.  This cake was SO fun for me to make and it challenged me and helped me see that I can be very versatile.  This cake was my White Almond Sour Cream Cake.  It was two layers filled with butter cream icing, and covered in red fondant.  The flames on the cake were made out of black fondant, as was the border.  The skull was formed with white fondant, detailed with black butter cream icing.

Hannah's Hawaiian Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my coworkers 10 year old daughter.  They had a picture of a cake they liked online and I recreated it for them.  Hannah, the daughter, LOVED this cake!  It was my White Sour Cream Cake, filled and covered with butter cream.  I made the wave border with a mix of blue and white icing.  The flowers that layed on the corners were made out of royal icing.  I skulped the turtle and the tree out of fondant. It is always a blast to make a child's birthday cake!

Theresa's Baby Shower Cake

Yay for work baby showers, right?!  I made this for a coworkers babyshower.  She having a precious baby girl, Jasmine.  This was a butter cream cake.  The flowers were made from royal icing.  Congrats!!!
