| I made this cake for my dad, who owns a sprinkler company. It's a two layered cake covered in butter cream. I carved into the cake to form the 'trenches' and laid the fondant 'PVC sprinkler pipes' in them. I used Oreo for the dirt. The truck was a Hot Wheels truck that I painted and then taped the company's logo on - it's a replica of the truck my dad drives around in everyday. I also purchased a One Direction figurine and taped my dad's face to it (haha!). It was a hit and my dad LOVED it. Success!! |
